ABOUT US
Tenterfield Film Club is a community group that aims to unite film lovers
through diverse movie screenings in our unique cinema at the Sir Henry
Parkes Memorial School of Arts. With no other film clubs within a 50
kilometre radius, we fill a void in the community by hosting larger film
events, simply put, we love getting together to share our passion for
cinema. Our club was founded in 2024 by a group of individuals dedicated
to sharing their passion with others. Based in Tenterfield, NSW, we are
an active and enthusiastic Film Club with events and activities taking
place year-round. We like to keep up the energy and excitement, always
welcoming new members to take part.

At the age of 11, Li was plucked from a poor Chinese village by Madame Mao’s cultural delegates & taken to Beijing to study ballet. During a cultural exchange to Texas, he fell in love with an American woman. After defecting and went on to perform as a principal artist with the Australian Ballet.
